Over the weekend, one of our interns was in a Shell gas station when a woman approached her and said, “Here, you should have this.” She then handed over the envelope you see above and walked out the door. Inside that envelope was a burnt CD. On that CD, was the following mind blowing shit.
At first it sounds like a competently made, though by no means life changing, home recorded rap song. Then all of a sudden a woman’s voice comes on and says, “Pull it out of your pants and stick it in my ass,” which is quite possibly the best first line ever. From there, MMM (Maria Magdelena Marca De Oro) describes what must be the most lax strip club on the planet, saying, “You know what type of club this is, you do not have to ask.” So we are only 20 seconds in, and this song is already about a strip club where you can fuck people in the ass without asking for permission. Holy shit. The best line comes in at the 1:15 mark however, when MMM says, “Pull it out and keep it out and don’t you put it back in again.” We don’t really know what she is going for there, but we love it all the same.
But wait, there’s more! The next song, “Revolution Makes Me Come,” is somehow crazier than the first. Ditching the Fruity Loops style rap beat for something more beat poet coffee house, the song is, according to its YouTube info, a “Tribute to the Hindu Goddess Kali.” It also reminds us a more than a little bit of Gil Scott Heron’s “Whitey on the Moon,” except about sex, revolution, and Kali instead of racial stuff.

Hi, I’m so happy to see that you’ve posted a review of my 2 songs….but I have something funny to tell you; when I say ‘pull it out of your pants and stick it in my ass’ I’m talking about pulling money out of your pocket and sticking it in my g string. I say things like “I’m applying for a grant, I’m asking you to pass a bill” “on my knees I ain’t ashamed as I suck up all your change” and “you got me staring at your bling, I wanna suck your ching a ling” Of course it’s meant to sound like sex, that’s the joke.
Details aside I’m THRILLED that you noticed me. THANK YOU!!! – MMM
